With my art I strive to convey the beauty of the wild and untouched places on earth. By reconnecting with nature we can find a source of healing and oneness with something bigger than ourselves.
Painting Philosophy
The painting process is an intuitive one. Without any particular reference, the paintings are purely based upon memories and imagination. They don’t attempt to show a true picture of a landscape, but rather the feeling one might get whilst in nature. Quite deliberately no humans or animals appear. This is done in order to keep the focus on the landscape and showcase nature for nature’s own sake.

The Journey
I always wanted to create magical worlds. Starting as a kid with building worlds out of paper clay I at some point realised that I would need to learn how to paint to bring them to life. And that’s where the journey began. Using the old painting kit from my grandfather I quickly became obsessed and painting started to become my biggest passion. Before deciding to dedicate myself fully to painting I studied politics in Australia and Germany whilst educating myself in drawing and painting on the side. Since 2020 I work as a full time artist and sell my art world wide.
Nature for nature's sake
The beauty of nature has always been an inspiration for us humans. When we stand by a powerful wild river, look up a mighty tree in a vast forest or loose ourselves in the depth of a clear night sky, we can not help but feel insignificance and awe.. By appreciating how the natural world interacts as a whole, from the smallest microorganisms to the tallest of trees we can gain an understanding for the importance of leaving nature to its own devices and enjoy it simply for it's own sake. As humans we are after all more dependent on the earth than it is of us!
